SWEDISH MASSAGE
DEEP TISSUE

Swedish massage is a classic, gentle style of bodywork that promotes deep relaxation and stress relief. Using long, flowing strokes, kneading, and circular movements, it helps increase circulation, ease muscle tension, and calm the nervous system. This soothing technique supports both physical and mental well-being, making it a great option for those new to massage, recovering from stress, or simply needing time to reset and reconnect with their body. It’s all about slowing down and inviting in a sense of peace.

Deep tissue massage is a focused technique that works into the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It’s ideal for addressing chronic tension, muscle stiffness, and old injuries by using slow, sustained pressure and specific strokes to break up adhesions and release tight areas. While it can feel intense at times, the goal is to restore mobility, improve posture, and relieve long-standing discomfort. This type of massage is great for those who prefer deeper pressure and want lasting relief from physical tension.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
SPORTS MASSAGE

This massage is designed to address specific areas of tension, injury, or chronic discomfort— spending the entire session working on one or two focus areas, rather than the full body. Therapeutic massage focuses on targeted work to relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and support the body’s natural healing process. It’s ideal for treating stress-related tightness, postural imbalances, or pain from overuse and injury. Techniques include a blend of techniques based on the individual clients needs with detailed attention to the problem areas that need it most.

Sports massage is specialized with helping athletes and active individuals prevent injuries, enhance performance, and recover more quickly. It targets specific muscle groups used during physical activity and incorporates techniques like deep tissue work, passive & active pin and stretches, and joint mobilization. Whether you're training regularly, recovering from an injury, or just living an active lifestyle, sports massage can support muscle health, improve mobility, and reduce soreness—so you can keep doing what you love with less pain and more ease.

CUPPING
GUA SHA

Cupping uses specially designed cups placed on the skin to create a gentle suction (negative pressure) to lift the tissue and encourage blood flow into the local area. This helps release tension in fascia, increase circulation, and stimulates mechanoreceptors nerve endings to reduce pain receptors. Though it may leave temporary circular marks by breaking up the capillaries. Cupping is generally painless is a gentle therapeutic tool. It’s especially helpful for chronic tension in the back, shoulders, and hips.

Gua Sha originated in Traditional Chinese medicine. It creates controlled friction that stimulates blood flow in the soft tissue, helps release tight fascia, and reduce muscle tension. It also activates sensory nerve endings, which may calm pain signals and improve mobility. Temporary markings may appear as small capillaries under the skin are stimulated, but these fade within a few days. Gua sha is generally comfortable and is a therapeutic tool often used for relieving stiffness, as well as supporting recovery from overuse or repetitive strain.

Traditionally this technique is believed to help break up stagnant energy/chi.
